How To Root Android Phone Manually


The key purpose of Andoird rooting is executing Su command and doing it using PC is called Root Android Phone Manually. Let's get to know what are the basic requirements that you must prepare to get root privilege manually. 

  1. Install ADB/Fastboot and USB drivers on your PC - These drivers help your computer to identify your device as a part of the PC
  2. Enable USB Debugging mode on your Android
  3. Download TWRP recovery for your device on your PC
  4. Open the file that TWRP image contains and use Shift + Right-click on white-space in the  to open a command Window
  5. Click on "Open command window here" option in the drop-down menu
  6. Next, connect your Android device to the PC
  7. Type adb reboot bootloader in the command window to boot your device into fastboot mode
  8. When the device booted to fastboot mode type fastboot flash recovery  with the exact name of your recovery image 
  9. Then, let your PC to flash the TWRP recovery image on your Android
  10. Finally, type fastboot reboot to boot your device to normal

Android root software


Now, you've flashed a custom recovery image on your device and you can boot it to custom recovery mode when needed using dedicated hardware keys to boot stock recovery. By now, you've prepared your device to accept a root file and the only thing you have to do is download Android root software and flash it in recovery mode.

Tips To Remember


Make sure to unlock the bootloader before flashing the root binary file and get a back up of your stock recovery before flashing the custom recovery image. Because your device cannot accept official Android update when it is running on a custom recovery mode. You can get the back up of your "boot and  "recovery" images using fastboot boot [path to TWRP you downloaded] command temporarily before flashing the TWRP originally.
